Portavin is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors. Portavin works towards continual improvement in OH&S through safety awareness, implementing and reviewing safe system, as well as recording and analysing hazards, incidents and accidents.

Two way communication is achieved between staff and management through regular safety committee meetings. All managers, supervisors and safety committee members undertake a “Managing OH&S” course to help raise awareness of their roles and responsibilities in ensuring a safe workplace.
