When are we looking for staff?
Portavin operates around the clock all year round. We have staff who have worked for Portavin for more than ten years, and others that join the team during their university or college breaks to gain experience in the wine industry. Short term, long term and casual positions are regularly available.
Current Vacancies – Client Services Coordinator*
* The vacancy is currently based in Chullora and will be relocating to Minto in late 2017*
Reporting to the State Manager, this role is part of a small Client Services team which is integral for the smooth operations of our NSW business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting a small team
- Coordinating clients bottling and dry goods supply requirements, on and off-site
- Production scheduling for the bottling line and preparation of production Work Orders
- Responding to sales opportunities for the supply of all products and services, and issuing quotations
- Managing CRM, production and inventory levels in an ERP system
We expect your previous experience will demonstrate your ability to perform in these tasks. We also highly value applicants who thrive in a dynamic production and team environment, who have a friendly style and skill at building relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
Experience in the wine or beverage packaging industries would be preferable.

Training you to work for us:
Once you have accepted your position with Portavin, on the agreed start date you will be given a formal induction and orientation followed by ongoing work based on the job training. This training is continued with presentations, and appraisals during your employment term.
